Many of us don’t get as much physical activity as we should. So often we’ve got lots to do and not enough time to do it. You don’t have to join a gym and work out for hours every day to be healthier. All you need to do is start moving more – a little here and a little there will add up.
Moving more every day can lower your risk for diabetes, high blood pressure, problems with your heart, and some types of cancer.
Being active can help you deal with stress, build strong muscles and bones, and lose weight. It will give you more energy to get through the day and help you look, feel and think better. Kids benefit from being active, too. Moving more can help your children do better in school, grow up strong, and feel better about themselves.
